Mersinli Wind Power Plant is located in Bayındır district of İzmir. The power plant operated by Yander Elektrik, a subsidiary of Bomonti Elektrik, has an installed capacity of 55 MWe. 13 Nordex wind turbines were used in the RES. Mersinli WPP can meet all the electrical energy needs of 30,012 people in their daily life (such as housing, industry, metro transportation, government offices, environmental lighting) with an average of 109.004.625 kilowatt-hour electricity production. Mersinli WPP produces electricity that can meet the electrical energy needs of 36,493 houses when only residential electricity consumption is taken into account.
