General Features

CCR is a water-clear, UV-resistant, low-viscosity epoxy system designed specifically for foundry, potting, and confinement/encapsulation applications. The low viscosity provides bubble-free, crystal-clear casting that is ideal for art and hobby applications. The system has two different speed hardeners. Slow (CCS) hardener should be preferred for high volume casting applications and fast (CCF) hardener for casting applications in small projects such as jewelry designs. CCR is a USDA Certified BioPreferred product with 30% bio-based content.

Application Tips

For best results, stick to the specified mixing ratios. Always mix the product thoroughly for at least 2 minutes, making sure that the resin is mixed homogeneously to ensure complete mixing. Avoid high humidity or cold ambient temperatures when using the product. For optimum bonding performance, ensure that the surface is dry and free of dirt, debris and/or oil. Sanding the surface is highly recommended. Test cast using recommended materials and processes to fully understand the curing properties and compatibility of epoxy in your work environment.
